I got a used amp in the mail. Fender frontman 25r for 80 bucks. I had a similar SS fender frontman over 20 years ago and it was great as a bedroom pedal platform amp. The spring reverb is nice even for a small tank. This is going to be my living room amp with a small board and double as stereo setup with my main amp. I took the stock speaker out and put in a spare I had from when I owned my Princeton reverb. Man did it transform this amp into something really great.

I've been eyeing these for a pedal platform clean amp. The work good that way and sound good on their own? I'm hoping they do that beautiful Fender sparkly clean?

Mr Stratman was awesome to deal with, he put up with my incessant hemming-hawing on which patches to get for my Mimir’s Well. I ended up getting an extra set of chips.
My indecission-delay meant I got to add the new Gift and Stocking PCBs to my order.
On top of that he upgraded my USPS to UPS-Executive (or whatever it’s called) so
NO BROKERAGE FEES
and it came super-fast.
Great experience, can highly recommend.

Man, I only have half an ass for jingling at best. Though this delivery has me more in the xmas spirit. Octave glory and I added a mercurial boost because I had read like the 50th @peccary mercurial shoutout that day. You're to blame for another! Also free picks are the best picks. It's even thick enough for use!
An update on my last delivery. This is normal, yes? A few empty enclosures to represent unfinished projects in my recent uncombining/rehousening effort.

You'll dig it. Also, I am pretty sure I must be a total weirdo who prefers thin picks. I use the orange Dunlop's, I think .06mm. I got some "get rad" stickers and wanted some picks, too, but can't find any makers who do them in that thickness.

Been debating buying one of these for awhile. Can’t stand using the paper templates (I feel like I always end up slightly off for the led or footswitch. There was a Black Friday sale. Going to drill out the magnetron enclosure tonight with it. Just put it over an already drilled out enclosure for the mystery meat to see how it lined up….
