As much as I applaud it, there are a couple of things which make it annoying.

First, it has PCBGM which isn’t entirely reliable.

Secondly, it drives traffic to the vendor. Basically, PPCB pays to host the content for the site.

I don't think I understand the point of this? It's a collection of page text and attachments scraped from (mostly) commercial projects, not a schematic catalogue?

Yeah, I'm no fan of PCBGM products.

And forgive my ignorance/naivety, but how is PPCB paying to host the content for the site? I don’t see how.

You mean PCBGM pays to host the site? PPCB wouldn’t be affiliated with anything like this, I’m pretty sure.

The value of the site is the schematics. Everything else is just a bunch of text pointing to the schematics. The schematics just link to the build docs hosted by PPCB (or whoever). When you visit the schematic, you actually go to the PPCB website. The traffic to PPCB is paid by PPCB.

I don't think it's PCBGM hosting it, but they're listed on it, so I can't really trust the schematics.
