Hey everyone,

Just dropping by to say hi and to send my love and best wishes to everyone. My life has been full of late, and pedal building had to be put aside at least for now but you are all in my thoughts, as many have shared much more than schematics with one another. Keep the love alive!

Now go build something! :ROFLMAO:

I had a bout of buildus interruptus forced upon me by a failed 32 year old water heater....

After five days of taking showers with a five gallon bucket full of stove heated water, I decided the 'mickey mouse' way would suffice until I could take the proper measures to re-pipe this. I have $85 of electrical boxes and components coming for stage two which is to bring electrical up to code.

Stage three is to delete old pipe setup for tank heater, and redo with new. The danger with galvanized pipe put into place 70 years ago is it is really easy to break the connection on the opposite side, leading to the zipper effect and a complete redo of the water lines. I'm going to encase these pipes with a cement block so it is impossible for them to move before I start...... I'll slather them with cement glue just before pouring.......
