Pedal names

I'll give you a guess as to where a lot of my names come from…

I don't like taking things wholesale out of the wasteland, but sometimes it's the best fit. I'm still quite proud of the Unoriginal Gangster.

I do like the trend of homage-onto-jabbing naming conventions in the diy space. Bean's names always get me. Though sometimes it's fun to just go to a three columned list and mad lib it.

Although I'm the kind of pessimist that fears the roll of the dice will net me something truly awful. I think of the Simpsons bit:

I named one of my pedals "Shaved Pu55y" and didn't even need a shart, eh, chart... nor dace eh dice.

It's basically a Barbershop with the tilt EQ from a Diamond Comp.

Does the tilt EQ smooths out the "hair" of the barbershop?
Haven't got it to work properly yet.
The closest I've come is getting the Barbershop made on a MayQueen board, GuitarPCB's "Red Special".
Note the similarities in the dirt-portion's topology...

GPCB's take on the ROG MayQueen [EDIT just found out this circ's no longer offered :(]:

PPCB's CHOP SHOP, a Barbershop minus the original's MOSFET:

The above endeavour required some transistor-leg bending.

Getting the Tilt EQ to work, I've got to mess with adding op-amps.

The graphic for the Shaved Pu55y will be something along the lines of the following...

Ah I like the barbershop on the normal channel of my vox. Makes sense.
My comment was more an attempt to be funny btw.

The pedal name construction list from @Chuck D. Bones only reminded me that my sense of humor still resides in the 4th grade!!!
Huge Hard Rocket, Holy Hot Expander, Marvelous Muff Machine, the list just goes on and on.
Thanks for the laugh!

Not to split hairs, but beard with me a moment ... I certainly didn't take it as a cutting remark or some kind of barb — at its root it was funny, in its own cuticle way.
