Funny story, since you brought it up.... A couple years ago I bought a PastFX pedal on Reverb, from PastFX.
Immediately got a private message "Are you Robert from PedalPCB?" ... (from Verle? I believe)
Basically letting me know there was no warranty if I broke it trying to trace it.
We talked for a short bit, I assured that wasn't my intentions (it really wasn't), but I fully expected the order to be cancelled/refunded.... but it wasn't. It shipped.
I was CERTAIN the pedal would be sanded to hell and gooped, but it wasn't.
As promised though, I did not trace it. I really only bought it to compare noise levels to a project offered here.

You have friends?Correction to what I said yesterday... I do not believe the transistors were sanded after all. I think maybe the primer etched the face of the transistor slightly and made the part number harder to see.

I’ve got her moogerfooger mf101 clone - which is excellent - and the first batch had a bug with the dreaded led switching noise bleeding into audio (which I’ve had a lot with diy pedals) - chatted to her a fair bit firstly saying there was this bug and then gently suggesting if she told me how I could solder enough to fix it myself and save shipping to around the world for a 5 min fix.
