Pitch Witch no modulating

Hi all,

I just finished building my Pitch Witch. Everything appears to work, all of the pots seem to work to adjust the delay. Maybe I haven't tweaked it enough yet, but there doesn't appear to be any modulation or detuning effect. Is the LED supposed to swell? It's just solid on.

I noticed the speed pot doesn't seem to make any change. Bad pot?

I'm having the same problem with mine. I'm thinking I used the wrong LDR. Here is the one I used:

The build doc calls for 1M LDR. Anyone know if this could be causing the issue?

The Tayda LDR I used (see above post) has a dark resistance of .5M. If the build calls for 1M, could that be why it isn't modulating? Would I get better results with a different color LED, or should I just order a 1M LDR?
