There are two diodes listed in the BOM for the basic relay bypass. There are no diodes pictured in the schematic. I see the product image shows the diodes on the board but the BOM does not have diodes in the pictured board layout or schematic. Is there possibly an updated version of the schematic showing where these diodes live in the layout?
I’m using the exact schematic in a personal pcb and am getting a big pop in a reverb circuit that trumpets its arrival each time I engage the effect. I tried a flyback diode across the coil of the relay and that allows the led to activate but the effect remains bypassed. There’s no pop when I add the diode but the effect needs to activate with it.
I’ve seen other variations of the flyback diode for latching relays using two diodes instead of one across the coil. But this failed to work for me as well. Anybody deal with this problem before? Thanks.
