2N2222A vs 2N3904 any real issues swapping?

Recent score of several hundred NOS 2N2222A, some gold leads. Not a burning question - but any reason not to use them over 2n3904? And they just look cooler....

Should be no issue. ALWAYS double-check the pinouts when swapping transistors. Datasheets!
