A real spring reverb pedal.

I'd love to see a real spring reverb project.

Some potential starting points for a project:
Surfy Bear used to sell kits but stopped. They claim to replicate the circuit of the old stand alone fender units.

The Danelectro Spring King requires a mod to get only reverb (there's a built in fixed delay). The sound quality isn't really the greatest on this one.

Anasounds element could be awesome, as I'd love to have the option for an external tank.

Carl Martin Headroom and the Spaceman Orion have two foot switches to enable two settings which is super nice to have.

Ok, not trying to be a jerk, I just don't quite understand. I mentioned this idea in one thread, followed your suggestion to make a thread, just to share an idea... That is all I have done... Some mentioned just building a spring reverb and using an amp and I elaborated my intentions as to why I want to remove the Amp from the equation...
Lol, it feels like I'm getting trolled or something. Sorry if I took it the wrong way...
Just send me your '66 Super Reverb and we're all good!

Ahh Zoom, Line6 and Scholz-Rockman wars...
My friend had the Line6 comb-amp, still does, with the much coveted controller. I had a Nobels Sound Studio 1, which went awol, stolen or may turn up in my Mom's basement — who knows.

I genuinely really like your preamp/reverb/tremolo idea, just having some craic with being meme to you.

Ha, I should probably hold onto it... It's been my Holy Grail bucket list amp for years, and I was only recently able to get my hands on one... Not much good vintage electric gear makes it's way around here... Fortunately the big migration east and south has opened up the gear floodgates in the market... sellers bringing it from California and the Northeast are having trouble finding buyers here in folk/bluegrass country, so I've been scouring marketplace like a hawk... Thanks! If Mary Whitehouse wants to ban it, then I'm for it.

I've never heard of Peace Hill SSS til now, but GD, what a tone!

I assume some dumb British wh*** wants to ban this too, in which case, I'm prepared to fight. ✊🔪

FYI just noticed there's a BJF Universal Reverb PCB available (https://moodysounds.com/en/produkt/bjf-universal-reverb-pcb/) which is basically a simple (at least no fancy controls) way to drive an external reverb tank, designed by BJF (edit: or at least in collaboration with), more info (links to manuals and whatnot) on the kit page here https://moodysounds.com/en/produkt/universal-reverb-kit/.

Looks like there's a US reseller, but kits only:
