B:ASSMASTER

This makes me wonder if the malekko diabolik is worth looking into too. Justin Meldal-Johnson's signature pedal is likely a great bass fuzz and I've heard people say it's in the realm of the assmaster. I've only seen demos though.

Iv'e seen clones of it online.
Im looking for the PCB of it.
Im not thet great at reading schematics so i wonder if theres is a DIY pcb i can try to build of it.

To clarify:
In post #3 I was referring to clone PCBs on offer — if you need a PCB of the B(r)assmaster they already exist.
If @PedalPCB offers a PCB of the circuit, I hope it's a clone of the Diabolik variant.

I built one that came from MBP, I think. It’s pretty great. Wasn’t too bad a build, and was designed for a 1590BB, using a unique stacked daughterboard for the transformer…

I was impressed, too, with the Fuzz Dog stacker — clever way to reduce the transformer-height problem.
I've wanted that board (and daughterboard) for a long time, but then wound up with MBP because of shear convenience (was ordering some other stuff when the BoomBoom became available). I wish more transformer-based builds had the Fuzz Dog approach.

fwiw I have the impression that Malekko's Assmaster model is not a simple reissue of the Brassmaster but a step forward for the concept, and I remain very interested in seeing at least a schematic of it, if not the ideal of a full-on clone pcb.

I’ve had the diabolik for awhile and I love it.. on guitar too…
Just picked up an B:assmaster the other day…
Haven’t had a lot of time to play with it yet…

All transistors are 2N3392 except q1 mpsa14
