and Oregon shouldn’t be throwing stones.. y’all couldn’t cook a hot pocket in the microwave to save yourself.
We Oregonians don’t eat hot pockets. That’s the evil people coming from just south of us.

Anyways I grew up eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches as my moms dads side of the family were from Mississippi and apparently that’s what they ate. I prefer peanut butter and honey myself.

Now, as a southerner, I've met 1 person who eats mayo and banana sandwich in my nearly 40 years. Don't go pinning that on us. At least not here in TN. Mississippi, yeah maybe. They still have an aversion to certain shades down there. Not everyone. But there's definitely a subset of 60+ that probably refuse to put anything,.. I'll stop there.

Now, come to my house with your dutch vinegar slaw and we are gonna fight. Come to my house with some of that miracle whip BS and they're gonna be looking for your body for at least 3 weeks.
Don't believe me on the slaw? I'll send you my recipe. But it doesn't have measurements...

here's a chaotic evil alternative:

(a good friend's dad is the target of this anecdote) His parents would force their kids to eat PB & mayo sandwiches as a punishment (for heaven knows what crime…). So eventually my friend's dad got so used to the taste, he would just make them …for food …for fun.

I never had either combo and they don't appeal to me. But as a kid I used to get PB & pickle sandwiches. Or PB & apples was another one.

There’s already been one reference to “euro style mayo” … so being in Europe what exactly are you talking about?

(Bananas are probably the same. Bread and peanut butter similar but with less sugar)

Euro style mayo? Wait until you try American style mayo. I live in Australia and we can get either. When I think European mayo it's Thomy, as you get in kebabs etc though Germany, Austria, etc. Or home made French mayo - oh my! But US style mayo is sweet. Real mayo tastes very different from old-fashioned Aussie mayo, or the stuff you get in America. Everything in America seems to have sugar in it.

And I can't believe anyone would sprinkle sugar over a turkey sandwich...

A proper sandwich.

Bread, banana slices, mayo (or peanut butter if you're a deviant). :ROFLMAO:

There is no wrong answer here, except peanut butter.

Only if you're Japanese.

Otherwise the correct answer is BACON & PEANUT-BUTTER.

Peanut-butter and banana is okay, but PB & BACON is superior.

If you think I'm kidding, I always save some bacon at my weekly car-guys' breakfast (every Saturday morning) to make a PB&Bacon sandwich with the toast. For you vegetarians, find a good veggiebacon ... DO IT!

🥓+🥜=🥪 mmm mmm gooooooooooood

Like DrGonzo69, I've been eating PB & Banana my whole life, never heard of mayo & ... anyway, also been having
PB & BACON my whole life...

WTF is wrong with you people? Bananas on a sandwich? Then you add Mayo (or PB)?!?

There’s a limit to how far you should push your personal freedoms..
There's a Gag I do to the wife everytime she gives me a Banana.
First I fold back the skin One at a time & count, One Skin, Two Skin, Three Skin, Four ..., by then she has left the room!!!
I then track her down & by then it has a circular ring about 1 1/2 inches from the top & a gash and I ask
'' Would you like a Bite '' , it can go one way or the other by this point!!!

I see pineapple, but no banana.

When I was a kid we'd have PBnB sandwiches where we'd mash the bananas and PB into a mushy paste and lay it thick on store-brand white bread. It's not great, I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm not American but I can destroy a PB&J any day. Throw bananas on it, even better.

But mayo on fruit sounds revolting. What's next, ice cream and anchovies?

Also, don't give the English ideas :D
