Black Friday impulse purchases?

As far as PedalPCB goes, I picked up a Byzantine and second son of Ben (as well as a few extra utility boards I needed more of). I intended to get a Little Green Scream Machine PCB as well, so I could finally build my winning entry from fig’s graphics contest, but alas, they are out of stock. I’ll order that board next time I guess.

Other than that, just got a book for my mom that she wanted. I frankly didn’t see many good deals anywhere, and I’m broke as heck anyway lol.

A record label I like a lot was doing a 20% off sale on all physical albums and merch on bandcamp, but I couldn’t spring for anything from them unfortunately.

This is also the first time I’ve missed out on going record shopping for the RSD Black Friday exclusives early in the morning— there were a few things that I really wanted (notably Rundgren, Weird Al, and Carole King. Possibly Hall & Oates too) but overall it wasn’t a particularly exciting release list this year, so I wasn’t going to get up at 5AM just to wait online for those. I was able to hit my local Newbury Comics later in the afternoon, but they didn’t have any of the stuff I wanted left in stock.

My wife bought a PAX on sale. That was the best Black Friday deal ever!

I've always needed more horsepower than those but for the size and power they're amazing. Only reason i never bought one is that I had several vaporizer box mods from when I quit cigarettes with e- juice. Dispensary cartridges are good enough for my stealthy needs which are pretty minimal here in pdx.

And then the bassists turned it into a vaporizer review thread.

You've gotta pack it *very* tight, like to where the cap is sticking up from the bottom, just keep packing in nice and tight. And about halfway through give it a stir. I didn't use it much at first for the same reason. But now after two of those I sleep like a baby.

I decided to pull the trigger on some builds to sell. Ended up getting a few Caesar Chorus boards and some Paragon's as well.

I couldn’t help myself with the 25% off and ordered a nobleman, Harmonic trem, I’m going to redo my twin face and aft preamp combo which has gremlins that I can’t sort and I might add a Golden Fleece clone to it as well.

I'm not sure if I love the deco or I'm indifferent to it and that's not a great way to feel about a $300 pedal

I feel a bit like a traitor but I ordered a couple boards from effects layouts. ironically enough they are also in Georgia.
Ordered new filter caps for my 100Watt amp, a small parts bag from Tayda, and the SurfyBear Metal.
All paid for by selling a few pedals I didn’t use anymore. Love this hobby.

Outside of that, there were no other Black Friday or cyber Monday deals that caused me to push the button.

I have a couple gremlin pedals too I should try and sort those out as well. Harmonic trem is such a great effect.
