Ok, here's a demo comparing all the Boss overdrives I've built recently.
As mentioned in my build reports, they all sound great and have their own thing going on.
There's definitely an evolution from the OD-1 to the OD-3 in the way they sound from a light mid hump to the more modern scooped sound of the OD-2 and OD-3.
In chronological order of release....from right to left....
Boss OD-1 (AionFX Corona)
Boss SD-1 (PPCB Uber Drive)
Boss BD-2 Blues Driver (PPCB Cobalt)
Boss OD-2 (Aion Aurum)
Boss OD-3 (Aion Heliodor)
Some riffing with the bridge pickup then some noodling with some single lines first on the bridge HB then on the neck single coil.
Looking forward to @Guardians of the analog 's demo video comparing his builds to see how they sound!
