should both pairs of led's be lighting up?
Right now only the top pair lights up on mine.
Also it sounds to me like the tight switch is not doing anything. Should it be noticeable when the bass is cranked?
LEDs don't need to illuminate to be clipping. I've not built the circuit, but looking at the schematic, I would not be worried if only one pair is lighting.
