Duocast issues - no sound

Hello,

I've been trying to get the Duocast to work for a couple months now. I just bought a replacement in hopes that it will work the second time around. That said, looking more closely at the instructions, the wiring diagram shows five 1N5817 diodes and one 15V zener (?). Is there something wrong in the instructions? Would the zener be the missing piece?

The zener diode was removed from the project a few years ago, I'm not fond of diode-to-ground polarity/overvoltage protection.

Make sure you have the most recent version of the build doc (last updated in 2021):

It looks like your first order was in May so you definitely have the most recent PCB. With that said, even if by some chance you had the older version it would work perfectly fine without the zener diode installed.
