Electrovibe bulb question...

I just finished my electrovibe build!! Just had a quick question. My lamp comes on as soon as I plug in the 9v adapter. Is that normal? Lamp works like it should just doesnt go off with the pedal? Pedal engages and disengaged like it should with the switch. Thanks for any help!!

This was much easier to prove than the refrigerator light thingy. Man that was cramped!

I tried that but it was so dark in there I couldn't tell if the light was on or not.

Hi, I’m bumping this old thread because I just finished my Electrovibe but the bulb won’t pulse…it’s static. Gain and bias trimmers work just fine as the lamp gets brighter and dimmer as I tweak them. Have you guys any idea of what could be the issue? Thx
