Alright good to hear, it is as im sure you can tell one of your templates. Its not the 3.50$ on the board its the week or two waiting and then having to fixYeah, this always gives me caution. Normal practice. Sometimes it works, but most of the time not.
I’ve never had an issue with the end product though.
Hmm will have to check but i think they are set to board cut out. Ill check the preview tool before i order them tonight. Thx.The non-rounded corners in the preview is normal.
It does seem odd that the outlines of your cutouts are white in the preview. Did you create the drill holes with the circle tool or the mounting hole tool? If you used the circle tool make absolutely sure those are set to Board Outline and not Top/Bottom Silk. If you used the Hole tool make sure your NC Drill file is included in the Gerber zip file.
It very well could just be quirkiness with the JLCPCB preview function, I've had some other abnormalities in the past that didn't show up in the end result. Quite a few of my Gerbers won't show a preview on the website at all but they work fine.
If you're ever in doubt you can use this online Gerber preview tool, it'll show you exactly what you're going to get.
I have a couple offline versions as well but this one is made by the designers of the Gerber format so I assume it's accurate...
i just used the templates. Moved/copy pasted holes to where they worked for my pcb. I need to work on making the outline larger while keeping thr curved corners, havent tried yet just on my ever growing listSorry to jump on: I'm just starting to figure out how to use all of this. Success on my first 4 PCBs on my own project in Eagle!
Now, want to make these faceplates. Any how to?
I just found "SheepyLove" GitHub links.....
Any tutorial on making pcb faceplates? I'm pretty decent in Eagle at the moment, just need a generalized explanation before I take off!
Thanks for any advice.
