The Meteora is less than half the price!!!Eh. It’s no different than the Fender Meterora or whatever the hell it’s called…
And it’s also way cool. I really like the version with tele pickups they did.The Meteora is less than half the price!!!
At least the Strings stay straight with the Headstock machine heads, Gibson's are notorious for string jam through the Nut ie D G !!!If someone wants to spend 250 on the same thing here you go!

I can picture this body style looking awesome worn by just about every female artist I know, but if I imagine myself (a dude) wearing it, it's all bad.
Maybe this is like the "skirt/kilt" situation paralleled in the guitar world?
Nah, I'd rock that on stage way sooner than you'd ever see me playing a Strat or a Les Paul standard to be honest. I like the vibe it has going on, I'd just never spend anywhere near that on a guitar.
The more I look at it if it was one pickup, just a volume knob, had the more angular pick guard in the original pic, and throw a SG style vibrato on it with a long string pull (like a jazz master) I'd play that thing all day. Given it would basically be an SG junior, but it would look cooler IMHO.
Shit, do those things and give it a subtle offset and Gibson might have had a hit on their hands.
I'm usually a bridge 90% of the time guy but the Charlie Christian neck pickup I've been playing all day is delicious. Barely touched the selector. Into my son of ben and blues deluxe. I actually haven't built any pedals in a while due to gear acquired disorder. Can't put the thing down.Yeah, no amount of polishing would make this worth $4,999.99.. but I do like where you're going with the aesthetic changes.
Now, when is somebody going to make an even less-popular guitar just for me that's just got a single humbucker in the NECK position..my main amps have always been super-bright-sounding Vox AC-30 and AC-15 so I hardly ever use a bridge-position pickup. Every once in awhile, I use both pickups together, but I'm using my neck pickup by itself 90% of the time..
Any other neck pickup people here?
..or is it really just me?
