Back in June (remember June?) I held a contest to guess how many quad sets I would get from a 100-2N5952s, and the winner got a new car or
something ...anyway.....
I've obtained an additional 221-2N5952s (as seen above) from several sources (one being a kind donation from
@blackhatboojum
). They've all been measured, databased, and matched. Here is the criteria used;
Vgs-off measurements were taken using a Peak Atlas Pro+.
Voltage difference must not exceed .001V to be considered a match.
Measurement must be between -3.5V and -1.3V (per man. spec)
*
The object of this game is to
guess how many quad sets I was able make, using the above criteria.
The closest guess to the actual number of sets wins a quad matched set, and a $50 PedalPCB gift card ( you'll need a pedal to build around those tasty transistors! )
In the event of a tie, we'll simply have more winners.
Do your guessing before 11:59 pm ET, Monday the 13th.
It's Quadrophenia with some fantastic FETs baby!
* Note: I have a Phase 90 breadboard started to determine if
matched OOS values can be used, and any limitations there may be, but that's for another time & thread.
