How not to take care of your pedals.

Good friend of mine buys and sells a lot of gear. Got a 78 peavey deuce barn find. Amp works great after some cleaning. In the back there were some old coil type cords and under them was this…. B2F8E951-792E-4C17-B0F2-1F19F2074958.jpeg

Attempted to remove the battery and he said the snaps and everything just kind of crumbled. It’s a dod 250 circuit wise I’ll try and get it back to life after I get it from him.

Likely I’ll just end up making the circuit on stripboard (I might do 1n34as though like the distortion +) and putting it in this enclosure. This however does use a dual op amp instead of the usual 741

A couple pieces of duct tape, some paint, it'll be fine! As far as the enclosure goes, you can still buy them....

And you didn't even need any duct tape!!!

Ok, now we need a sound sample!!!
I’ll have to ask him to send me one. He didn’t bring it to me because he was able to get it working without really doing anything. It’s a dod 250 though. Using the 4558 instead of a 741 only using 1 side of the op amp.
