No demo since both @DGWVI and @jwyles90 both posted tone demos recently.

Interesting pedal but not really for me. For some reason it sounded better with @jwyles90 and @DGWVI playing it than me....

Sounds kinda harsh to me but I think it would appeal to folks that like a more jagged angular type of drive.

I used ITT Red Band Ge diodes in place of the 1N60's. Other than that, built to BOM.

This circuit definitely has some teeth, and doesn't really warm up or round off. But like you say, it does that jagged thing which certainly appeals to me.

One thing you could try is swapping the opamp. Any dual should work, and it designed so there is some chip saturation.
C7 could also be increased to roll off some highs post -clipping. 3.3n as in the Rat could work, but you could definitely go higher
