Clip the leads off the slide switch (except the four corner supports) and reinstall it into the PCB, then you can get rid of that tape.

I'd clip them just short enough to clear the PCB, but long enough that I could solder some flying leads onto them later if I wanted to make something switchable. (Diodes maybe? That'd be cool)

@Robert Awesome suggestion, seems so obvious for a clean look, just got it finished! I was debating using the goop to glue it back in place hah, glad I didn’t. Thank you!
