I just found a listing from a local store that sells second hand pedals selling a parentheses clone that I built and sold on FB for twice what I sold it for. Hard not to be a bit miffed about that.
Although they copied EQD info for the listing, I definitely didn't put relay switching in it.

Do you think the store bought it from you directly to re-sell? Or maybe your customer traded it in there?

Either way, someone else highly valuing your work doesn’t seem like something to get too upset about.

No I'd say it was third hand from whomever I sold it to. I build pedals in small batches over several months and if I don't like the sound or how they fit in with my other gear I usually sell them for little more than they cost me to build just to have money to build more, I doubt I'd have gotten any interest if I sold it for the price they're asking. Just that if I did that profit could have bought me many more small pink bags.

I can only guess that the guy didn't have a proper power supply as I just plugged in and it worked fine. Kinda anti climactic but I'll take a win any day. I'll play with it today and make sure but she seems solid as a rock so far.

I just scored a nice old Akai turntable in the same regard. Not my loss

Turns out the guy wasn't crazy. Put the back on and it had problems...no back works perfect. The pots needed trimmed and now it's 100% fixed. I've got the missing battery door coming from Tech21. I'm gonna punt it after it gets here.
