CONTEST
Might have missed the boat but still had fun putting this one together. Time to put some VFE boards to use courtesty of PPCButility boards, complete the Mascis muff I have wanted to do forever, attempt to coax non sea sick sounds outta the pitch witch and pit the projectile (cool Filmosound info in the mockup!) against my duocast and mini. Good times!

The winner of the fourth code is @scheffehcs ..... they'll need some pedal builds to go with the Bass VI (y)🥳

Now on to Round II ... 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️
Thanks @fig!!!
@scheffehcs an FY-2 with mids control (search in here, I detailed how to do it a while back— just replacing one resistor with a pot) is by far my favorite fuzz with a bass vi, in case you’re looking for a killer fuzz. Congrats!
I appreciate it. Adding to my real cart. I actually own a Squier Bass VI, and I coincidentally bought it off Reverb from someone on this forum (thanks @innerlight!)! Upgrading to a Fender is something I'd love to do someday, but for now, the cart I posted is a bit of a fantasy haha.

Well I put together a pedalpcb cart this time

Horsemeat - The PRS fanboy in me needs to build this at some point.
Thorpy compressor - I still don't 'get' compressors so have been told to check this one out.
Boss Flanger - I'm trying to step away from the digital.
Klon Buffer - I've rediscovered the Eternity and OCD. Dear god these are phenomenal drive pedals, they just float my boat in a big way. The only thing that could make the eternity better is a touch of delay... And it's ruined!!!

WTF Lovepedal and Fulltone. Basically two pedals that have to be used on their own or need a dedicated buffer after them. Boo. Hence the klon buffer.

Fuzzface - To continue my fuzz odyssey into the non smooth drive side.

Well, then you'll need this $50 gift code! (y)🥳

Thanks to everyone for playing along!

Thanks also to this DIY community at large, and as always thanks to our very gracious host @Robert.

Now go build or fix something! :ROFLMAO::love:

Wow, thanks Fig! I appreciate your extreme generosity to this forum and great sense of humor. Pedalpcb is making all of our music gear dreams come true.

Well, what a nice way to start the day. Thanks so much, @fig.

General Tso, Byzantium, Electrovibe: all spring to mind. Should keep me busy for awhile. Thanks again and best to all.
Armed with the generous gift code from @fig, I placed my second PPCB order in a couple of days consisting of one Byzantium, General Tso, CDXL reissue filter, Rangefinder, and a Protoboard Micro to round things off.

My general arrangement with said breadboards has been pretty hack thus far: precarious little red and green power supply wires plugged in to the rails. These tend (naturally) to come unstuck and cause episodes of undignified cursing and teeth-gnashing while I track down the missing connection. Such episodes are clearly not in keeping with the (P J) probity of my advanced years...

Seriously though, these should keep me busy at least till end August September of 2023 or till the cows come home (delete whichever's inapplicable). Thanks again @fig and @Robert for your generosity and for making this forum the best place to hang that I know of.

I got one of "our" carts right here. Well, you can see the first half anyway. It's the best I could do zooming out as far as possible in the browser. Nothing like mentally preparing for a 6 kilo box of PCBs to arrive at my house after I click <checkout>. Almost afraid to see what shipping is going to be.
