Squidward with a mix pot

I'm hoping to build a Squidward and add a mix pot so I can dial up and down the octave. Looking at the schematic, it's not clear where I could insert a pot to dial this in. I suspect that it wouldn't dial up the effect any more than the default, but it'd be nice to have some control over this

I haven’t done it personally but I’ve heard of people subbing out Q2 emitter 10k resistor R6 with a potentiometer for some control over the amount of octave, with ccw being only a fuzz. On my breadboard to do list along with the nulling and filter mods.

For a true clean blend you could use a guitarpcb buff and blend addon board

I'd be interested to know how to add a volume knob since I read that there's a volume bump when you turn it on. I believe there's a resistor value change?
