I’ve always been enjoyed stacking overdrives or delays together but tonight for the first time I had a go at stacking reverb pedals together and it sounds awesome. It gives a great sense of space (obviously) with both reverbs set quite subtly.
I've used a reverb pedal alongside the amp reverb. Spatial clarity is also how I perceive it. It seems to add more data points to for your ear to decode.
I’ve done this before too and like fig mentioned more often than not I will put. More ablmboent spacey verb into my amp spring reverb or my ghost echo.
The deflector reverb is a very hall sounding reverb so the decay and and mix are set low then I had the HOF on the hall or plate setting, again with the mix and decay set low.
I’ve never had an amp with reverb so this is all now to me.
