Tayda’s picked up their knob game

I've gotten some bad quality ones from them, but went cheap and they weren't for a pedal. I'm not saying they're phenomenal, but much better than, say, 2020.

I’ll have to keep that in mind. I’m the past, a full 80% of the Davies clones I would get from them were duds. I sorta dig their weird rubbery mixer-looking knobs for knurled shafts, but I haven’t checked out their other knobs in a long time because of how consistently the knobs would strip out before the set screw gave any grip.

This isn't the first time I've heard this, Tayda upped their knob game a year or two ago. Like Barry, though, I wasn't impressed with some of the knobs I bought a few years back.

I found a good source for Davies-1900 clones in China, but they'll only ship within China (& to Hong Kong, Macau). 😿

Moving hobbled my knobbles.

You'll are making me feel real good about my latest tayda order which had two sets of 1900H knobs.

Pro tip: When your pedals mostly sit in a box under the futon, the knob quality isn't much of an issue.

Hmmm I guess either the "bad knob days" were before my time or I just have low standards:) But I've been rather pleased with the quality of my last order of knobs from Tayda.

I've got some really decent knobs from there recently. The Neve style are excellent - and they look awesome on my Broadcast. Tayda really do seem to increase their inventory quite rapidly.
