I had no idea the direction of the keyway was a matter of import... Before I began building I checked my commercially purchased pedals and some have the keyway on top, some on the side and some on the bottom. I have been putting them on the bottom after reading a comment on this thread. Carry on!

mxr and tc electronics do it on the side
jhs does it on the top.
my first two were up.

the last one i did was down. but this thread is new to me.
it's a fancy switch that came with a star washer and an unkeyed round washer.
should i feel bad even if it doesn't matter?

Finishing up my Sequel (Chuck version) and just realized the key is up. Now normally this would have no effect on me whatsoever. But now that you people have turned me into some sort of switch orientation psychopath it will haunt me until I eventually replace it with a relay bypass and tear down the original 3PDT so I can't make the same mistake when I use it again. Until then; the pedal is virtually useless to me. Even on a dark stage the led will illuminate the channel-of-shame.

You people are monsters.
