So much that. I have a real appreciation for people whose brain allows them to really get and do visual art well. I am not one of them. But I definitely respect it and want to give them credit for their work, just like I would want credit if someone were using a song of mine in something.

Inspired by this thread, I took my Kokko TS to my lap steel rehearsal today and used it as a low-gain tone warmer. It sounded good and worked well in context. The singer / band leader liked my tone, so I'll keep using it. And then probably make a better one and use that instead.

Here is the first and only pedal I have built. The BYOC Green Pony. It turned out great. I've breadboarded a couple others. I really want to get good at this and BYOC is paint by numbers so I didn't learn as much as I am here and breadboarding

Here's my Creeper from back 10 years ago when my son was really into Minecraft. Sadly, the most I can say for offboard wiring skills improvement is that I use zip ties now! I didn't realize the diode switch was on/off/on (and is probably wired wrong) so somehow the middle position is super loud and overdriven. It sounds good though so I left it as-is. It's a Son of Clay Jones Overdrive, which is a tweaked Son of Screamer. Definitely in the Tube Screamer ballpark, but 100% more Minecraft. Also, decals on the sides really is a PITA.

Congrats on the win! Love the decals... which ones do you use? And which printer? It looks so cool!

Fizz, it's been a while but I'm pretty sure I was using Papilio white opaque water slide decals and a regular ink jet printer (can't remember which one, an Epson one most likely). Thanks so much Fig, there's lots of amazing builds in this thread already!

indeed not, it’s a ridiculous enclosure but it works for me..

hot tip: with x3 16mm pots, pretty much anything that’s no larger than a 20x13 veroboard will fit
