What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

There were a lot of the late 2nd and 3rd wave that I have fond memories of, Green Day being one of them, but I hold them solely responsible for want punk degraded into… and for that reason I submit they do belong on that list.
For me I simply don’t like anything they did after Dookie. They changed. Not a bad thing, as a lot like them- and in many ways the music and especially the lyrics matured over earlier work.… and other bands do the same (listen to the first albums by Aerosmith, The Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin etc, then compare to later works.. they all change). Unlike those other bands though, GD moved in a direction that didn’t appeal to me

A little late night soldering to finish up the Tacit Blue circuit, which is just a FF with an input transformer. I biased this one by ear to make sure all the settings played nicely with each other. I had a hard time with volume drop but ultimately figured it out! Will probably do a build report when I finish up the other pedal in its likeness!

That’s a really cool enclosure.

Green Day, blink-182, or sum41?

Green Day are OK despite being the progenitors of mall punk.
I had Kerplunk. My band in the 90s covered "Christie Road."

But those bands with numbers in their name: Blink-182, Sum-41, Eve6, Matchbox 20, Seven Mary Three? What was up with that trend?

Oh yeah, I really like mine. Power source is a bit finicky.

Haven't noticed anything weird powerwise, outside of a momentary whine when first plugging it in

I do need to up the output slightly, though. It's just under unity with my clean signal.
But, it's boxed and I need to figure out something for the labels. The ink I normally use doesn't adhere too well to this level of gloss

I read the above post at least 3 times or more as "I have a solid block of LIME ..." and was wondering what you were gonna do with it, Paradox916.

Hi @bean, I've still got one more OLD Collosalus left, going to build it for myself. 😽
