What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Sitting on a DuoPhase board since this past summer. Time to get off my ass and complete assembly.
Mind was very distracted for a while, and I have regained focus.

Drilled and painted enclosure, sorted out switches, pots, etc, and aim to complete assembly tomorrow evening after work.

Same boat. Not sure why I haven't wrapped mine up. Guess it is a bit more involved with the setup and opto shielding....best of luck!

Wired up my Schadenfreude board today and noodled awhile. PLL gotta be one of my favorite subgenres. I do wish the sustain of notes was a bit longer...I wanna hear all the fuckedupedness ring out! I assume that wouldn't be a complex mod given the tiny amount of parts the circuit requires? 🤔

I've made a couple clones of the Dlx Mem Man, but there is something magical about these 2 mn3005 models. Didn't have enough time with it to determine if it is just nostalgia or something more.

I'm working on a design for a simple tube tester, it just supplies constant plate and grid voltage (no curves yet) and measures cathode current. Eventually it will do some math, but for now it just tells you what the current should be and what it's measuring. I hate tube specs because ±30% is often still considered "good" and it's only once you get past 40% that it's considered "weak". These are two "good" tubes from different suppliers. You can probably guess which one charges more.

Yeowza. I had no idea.

Got this one in progress: bought an agile multiscale 8 string a while back. Stripping the finish off cause they absolutely fucking choke the shit out of their instruments with the layer of polyurethane finish on there.

Even with the power sanders and 60 grit...taking *forever*. 1000058433.jpg
