But yeah, routering vertical made me err the heuristic of clockwise or counterckockwise guidance.
Bought a set of 4 of these router bits (different lengths) on
Amazon. Amazing stuff that I could have put to good use in the past a oot of times. I only knew of the flushers with the guide at the end, which sometimes makes for very awkward guide preparation.

Hooooooh wait I get it. You were trying to route the table beam flush with the now destroyed piece, that you used as a guide for your top bearing router bit. And the bearing lost contact. Were you hoping for the size of your balls to balance out the router? Man. I wouldn't even trying it with a palm router, especially with chinese bits. Should have put the table on its side

You should always do the exact opposite of that... Push against the way it wants to go, this way it will always press itself against the work itself, instead of away from it. (For the non woodworkers here).

Being in the custom woodwork profession for more than 33 years... The machine that I've witnessed eat the most fingers are shapers.... Basically a fixed based router on steroids.. I've seen quite a few bad accidents happen... Luckily ive only had one pretty bad mishap with a pretty big band saw but have all my digits..... Got a few around here in the shop with a funny handshake though..lol

Outside of a pile of pinewood derby cars (my boys are now 18 and 20), woodworking is not in the cards for me.

Router is one of those stealth danger tools still wood shop class. Forget the tablesaw kickback board, we needed an airbayfor rogue hand routers.

- no one really seems to bother with this one so I went to try it out.
- actually pretty good.
- grinds, crunches, it's fat. i'm down.
I've since tried the rev C version, and I reckon it's even better:

- this thing is so sticky, i'd be more inclined to call it a tar pit fuzz.
- did the things and got Q3c (MP38A, ~60hfe/~.100 leak) biased to around 3V, for D1 tried a few options and settled on a D9E.
- i heard some say this is more like a big muff than a bender? not sure im getting much muff vibe.
- really wanted to like this but i just don't.
this demo is awful, i wasn't gonna share it, but i've decided it's important to highlight even the turds to promote acceptance that not all of em can be bangers.
having said that, it's probably my fault that it sucks and the circuit is fine but whatever i tried

What you need then is a router, but ... I suggest you keep your middle finger, provides a much nicer figure to your hand.

Much to my surprise, my one-off pedal worked prefectly on the 1st try even though it's made up of disparate bits and pieces originally not intended to go in pedals. Fingers crossed that it won't fall apart on the world tour it's going to . If it does, at least it's modular and connectorized, so it ought to be easy to fix.
