What are some “must build” pedal circuits that you think everyone should try?

This KOT clone has become one of my favorite pedals, especially when boosted with a Klon clone. I added some J-Bass knobs tonight, I really need to learn to make my own graphics.

Have you taken a look at the no-film waterslide tutorial? It's probably the quickest and easiest way to go. It can also look great and is very durable without a top coat.

I’ve been reading up on that and it looks like the best way to go.
If you want to half ass your way into it like me, inkjet on clear vinyl sticker with a few clear coats looks surprisingly good with very little effort. The surface has to be white for the colors to come out right. Black and white designs looks great on lighter colored enclosures. It seems like every build report posted by Manuel Ammon is followed by "how did you do that?" The answer is printer vinyl sticker. He obviously puts effort into the design so they look sweeet. I prefer to maintain my "some jerk in a basement" aesthetic so I like to label with posca pens rather than worry about spacing/formatting.

Any update on this?
Yup. I have boards in hand and they've been verified. It sounds good, but I haven't gotten around to getting it boxed up yet or putting together something vaguely resembling a build doc. I'll try to get that in the next couple weeks. My "I'm busy, I'll just push this back a little" list is ever growing. Keep reminding me about it so it stays fresh in my mind :P

@vigilante398 my “I’ll get to this later” list is so long it spans two zip codes 😂. I appreciate the update and I’m super stoked to check it out whenever it’s ready.

What tubes does it use?
It uses a pair of 12AX7. Usually I would say you could use a lower gain tube like 12AT7 for a cleaner sound, but if you want a cleaner sound you probably shouldn't be building a Soldano preamp :P

Just breadboarded the Crunchbox and I have to say it is quite……crunchy 🤣. I found a bag of LM833’s that I forgot I had so that worked out as well. I may end up building this one out.
