I only have a preference for the fender over g&l headstock. No hate. I always liked the look of their split coil strat pickups but have minimal experience playing their products in general. Humorously, this just happened to pop up on YouTube this evening. I don't even watch Dibble.

I searched the forum and also got a glowing vote of confidence from @MichaelW so went for it. My first one with a real temp control. The irony is my Weller wlc100 bit it with 4 final (probably not final, but gotta take a break) projects almost completed. I try to get out, but they just keep sucking me back in

It impossible to take a break theres always something thats going to pull you back in!

Your going to love this solder station. I keep mine at 370. It works perfect since ive bought it and haven't had a problem with it!

This Viralloy knock off of the Engoneer SS02. It's a bit heftier, and has a significantly longer nozzle. Haven't used it just yet, but it seems decent

Think it was $5 cheaper.
It works at least as well as the Engineer as far as suck action goes. I like that the rod pushes out so much further so I can clear longer bits of silicone easier- I like having the option of using longer tubing if needed. And the overall length of the nozzle is a nice feature for getting into tight areas

I have one made in the 60's but it doesn't have the capacity to power the 100w Marshall 2203 I'm building. Plus it doesn't have any meter, just a dial you have to 'trust' is correct, and it was built for 110v and I have 125v.
