Where'd you have those PCBs made? I was hoping for hot pink but purple is as wild as JLC let me get.

Yeah they're actually purple, it's just the exposure from the camera that made it look pink. The wires are actually pink though!

I'm in Poland and I'm familiar with the expression, just not the acronym. I've been SOL several times this year.
I guess SOL is what CIOKS tells you when their power brick croaks and becomes a paperweight. SOL is probably Danish for "suck it up, buttercup"

Sol is the Roman/Norse god of the sun. And the word for ‘sun’ in some Romance languages (i.e., Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese). But in French, soleil is ‘sun’ and sol means ‘ground’.
