What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

My mailman gave me a wink today as she handed me a box labeled “Electric Love”. Without blinking I exclaimed “A sweet man sent this to me!”. She must have been in a hurry because she sped off. 🤷‍♂️

Sweet swaggyness!

spreading love one questionable look at a time. It’s the least I could do after the unexpected swag bag from you! Plus these embroidered hats came out much better than the screen printed ones!

So is Reverb the best place to buy a hat? And got any shirts? I feel like strolling around with a big pink circuity heart on my chest.

I’ve only tested out one shirt company so far it was stickermule. It came out nice but dealing with sizing is a major pain and their more expensive than the hats to have made,

The hats and pedals are on reverb because of the new tax laws i had to make it a company and track it differently then I originally want, I’m sure you can find my ranting thread on that subject on the forum….

The hats definitely raise eyebrows…

I can understand sizing issues unfortunately being more hassle than it is worth, as I think about it. Come to think of it, I did read that thread. That does suck, especially since that eats into the donatable profits.

I feel like raising eyebrows is part of the allure, bring awareness and focus to the issue at hand. So, I guess I will just have to get looks with a great hat then. Good work with this. That is a great logo.

Got in a complete blackout kit from LMS last night: black footswitch with black trim ring, black 3 way switch with black trim washer and black dress nut. Already have a black LED bezel to go with. And then I have a few different sets of black knobs, and some decidedly non black ones too. This is for a military green Gorva S90, and something I very well may keep for myself.

I got a clear breadboard I ordered 2 months ago and a claim of my 10 watt amp board being delivered.. just hop it's in the box for the guy from 9 and not 11, the 2nd place is unoccupied >< monday is gonna be a new story.

Slow boat from the ROC took 17 days from order submission this time:

But I did receive two bonus boards for one of the two designs, bringing total per-board cost to just under a dollar per. First time I've tried red ones from JLC, I'm liking the trace visibility. I'm going to take a shot at ordering 3D printed boxes for these things next time, I reckon. Right now I do them with Nomex origami, which is fine for onboard bass installs but a little too rustic for upscale pedals IMO.

Today was DEFINATELY adifferent story, my inductor for Black Eye, some strings for my buildin, gettign down to only choice left is to whether or not on anodizing the aluminium pick guard. there's the chips from cab tech, guess that'll be a 'testing phase later😁

And then the bigg'un.. the bag I got from Rob... ooof dah, I never thought I was gonna be that low on resistors and capacitors🤣 or that I got the wrong 🤬 TRS jacks for a protoboard >< also had 5 footswitch relay boards and 4 effects...

Tim offered it to me a while back and I had no legitimate need for it so I declined.

Fast forward to about a week ago and me and @Chuck D. Bones were talking about my Monk Vibe design (which he has had tons of input on) and he asked me if I had a scope to tell whether the limiting resistor I'm putting in series with the lamp would saturate to lamp driver Darlington.

Having completely forgotten about Tim’s offer, I hit him up for Scope suggestions and the rest is history.

We all know he’s a stand up guy but he has ways of reminding us all the time!

I find none of this surprising.
