I hope the next swag package includes a cutting board for that countertop!![]()
Those cut marks were probably in the countertop before I was born!

I will never understand why people cut directly on countertops. Those cut marks were probably in the countertop before I was born!![]()
In the old days, they cut it directly from the plant or animal and consumed it. Later, they discovered if you oscillate something at a high enough frequency, the molecules go into hyperdrive and create friction. Somehow, counter-tops fit in there…I’ve forgotten how though.I will never understand why people cut directly on countertops.
I try to keep my purchases from StewMac down to once every 5 years......the plus side is that their tools really are lifetime investments.I should have a fret dressing file from stewmac but apparently their $11 shipping is also crazy slow. Hate buying from them
That’s the only reason I’ve bought from them in the past I just need the tools and if something breaks i get a new one.I try to keep my purchases from StewMac down to once every 5 years......the plus side is that their tools really are lifetime investments.
For fun! It’s like roulette for salmonella and botulism!I will never understand why people cut directly on countertops.
mid century used to be modern
Bruhhhh I’m so tempted to get tix to the Boston shows. I scored tix to the Halloween show, and I want to go on the Nov 1 show too, but I have classes on Tuesday nights and the beacon shows are absurdly expensive anyway— I got the cheapest presale tix on Tuesday for the Halloween show, and for three tickets in far-away seats it cost as much as the three night general admission pass plus two balcony seats from the port Chester run earlier this year.Got a Madamp kit on the way from Musikding, dip my toes in
Also tickets to see Ween in Boston.

The presale was apparently only for floor seats (the ticketweb system was super confusing so I thought I paid a ton for total nosebleeds (you couldn’t straight up select your seats or anything, just the price tier and I picked the cheapest), but I’m actually in row N of the orchestra. The balcony seats are apparently like $40, and there really isn’t a single bad seat in the house. If you wind up going on Halloween, lmk— I’ll probably be on line for a few hours before doors open as usual, so I don’t miss out on the poster (especially if it’s a ZoltronI know, it’s nuts. But I mean I’m coming from the west coast of Canada lol. Gonna Hail Mary it and hope I get NY tickets from some people when I’m in Boston!

That little wrench pryer thingy is a life saver! Especially installing toggle switches on guitars and stuff. But also for gently prying off stubborn knobs without damaging the guitar (or pedal).Goodies from @Amplified Parts
- Fawn tolex (not pictured) for a few Vox-type pedals
- A pair of narrow-spaced boards for Buzzaround builds
- Some black FF boards (stealthy!)
- 3 Fuzz face knobs (stealthy x2!)
- Some black-hat NPN germs (stealthy x3!)
- A spanner for knurled switch nuts
