When the FV-1s first became available [edit: again, recently] in the shop, I pounced before they could disappear. Normally I wait for a sale, and I didn't even think to check for the usual sale suspects (public holidays, anniversaries, and that sort of thing) — I could've (maybe should've) waited for the labour-day sale, but like I said, I pounced.



My PPCB FV-1 collection is complete, plus some TL072s.

I thought I ordered plenty of the latter, but then looked at the DuoPhase BOM again and the durned thing eats up a baker's dozen of those ICs. Will need to order more TL072s that I should've ordered with the Labour-Day sale. Looking forward to that latter order's arrival.

Won an auction pretty cheap for a set of Faron Collins Strat pickups, and they just arrived today. They’ll probably go into the Squier mini when I strip and refinish it— still deciding between just a plain sonic blue finish or going all out and doing a mini George Harrison Rocky Strat.

I got germs!
TG5S, TG 1L, ASY33S, ASY34S, AC125, OC1074, OC1076.

Mostly low gain, low leakage, none more than 70uA. I got a couple of Fuzz Face pairs in there, looks like there are no high gain high leakage ones for Tone Benders but hey, some are green. My TC1 reads a few of them as double diodes.
More accurate testing when I'm back from the mammaland next week.

I bought 4 pieces of each - ASY34S, OC1074 and OC1076.
OC1074, OC1076 are rather low gain, (30-50). ASY34S - one or two pieces above 100.
