Daaang. That's all going in a single multi pedal, yes?
Hah! I wish.
One of the FV-1s will just be going on a breadboard adapter so I can mess around with unusual applications of it.
Of of the 3008s is for the VFE choral reef and the rest are just so I have them for future projects including some analog delay boards I have but don’t have plans to build just yet.
3208 and 3207 are for some stuff I can’t quite remember as well as the Electric Druid Flangelicious (I’ll try both chips to see which range I prefer or maybe even have a switch to select between both.

The gatekeeper was a pretty fun build, the disaster transport does the spooky delay thing pretty well.
I put it together (unboxed, just alligator clips to the Test Rig), but it seems... very underwhelming? I suspect there's something wrong, it's quite quiet and muddy. Mix at full is roughly unity, maybe a bit less, tone at full is maybe a bit duller sounding than the original signal, and lower than that it just goes to mud. No way I can make it oscillate, with repeats full it doesn't repeat for THAT long. That doesn't sound correct, does it?

I didn't hook up the mod switch yet, I was just testing everything else, and no LED's either, but I don't think those should matter, right?

I'll post a thread in troubleshooting later on, I'll see if I can figure out anything myself first.

Edit: I did have the PT2399 the wrong way around at first, but I don't think it would get partially damaged, right?

Although a lot of what your first question asks can be considered subjective, ( depending on what we expect from a delay pedal,) I have to agree with your suspicions, given I have never built a pt2399 delay that wasn’t easily pushed into self oscillation, for me that’s the charm of those types of delays. The other thing that pops into mind is pt2399s ( especially form tayda) seem to vary a lot in their functional ability, and it’s not unheard of to get a bad one once in a while, but you are correct, this conversation should be in a troubleshooting thread. And I do believe you are correct in the switch for the modulation not being hooked up shouldn’t matter you just won’t have modulation. This would be a good Chance to practice your audio probe skills.

Don't be sorry! Didn't mean for that to come off as anything but lighthearted, stuff like that happens to the best of us! I might honestly just roll with it as is, I don't care all that much.
No worries, I took it as lighthearted, apologetic is one of my natural moods. I made a mistake and I accept it, so if you want to wait a couple weeks for the revised board they'll be here free of cost for anyone that bought the board with the backwards pot.
