Sorry last question do you know which of those would be in the 100-150 hfe range most likely
No need to apologize! I think that you'll have the best luck with either the MP21D or the GT115G. About 1/4 of the MP21D in my inventory have an hFE between 100 and 130, with an average leakage of 145µA. The rest measured lower in both gain and leakage. I haven't used the GT115G, but I have used its sibling the GT115D. Unlike most Soviet transistors, the GT115 series' data sheet measured hFE at a relatively low 5mA, very close to the ~4.5mA used by the Peak DCA55. As a result, the GT115D that I received matched the hFE on the data sheet. I would expect that the GT115G would exhibit similar adherence to their data sheet specs. If you only need a single transistor and are located in the USA, send me a PM.

right on man.... eventually I'm planning on making a little setup at home .. Used to have a crazy nice setup at work
So I have a spray tent that I set up. Its not perfect but I get professional results without a huge mess!

Hopefully in the future I can afford a better setup than what I have but Im not complaining!

Both came on Tuesday, but I didn’t get home until 3am, and then yesterday I was at school all day (eagerly awaiting my return home to open ‘em) and crashed on the couch within 10 min of getting home 😂
First thing I did today was run these down to the workbench to open them up.
CS-2 and PW-2 boards from @Guardians of the analog, and an absolutely stunning Rad Salad enclosure and PCB from @steviejr92! Two of the raddest dudes around. Much thanks to them both! Can’t wait to get to building these!

I forgot to add the little LED bezel on the enclosure! 🤦‍♂️

Well damn the vibrancy of those graphics is incredible! Are those Tayda prints?
Yeah, Tayda prints! I splurged for the double white even if I'm not sure whether it's necessary.

Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention I left one out of the pictures 👀

It's for the Figbuster and I'll try to make a build report for that one if I can get it done.

Rad salad indeed.

I’d say if the double white made those colors pop like that then it was absolutely necessary!

Molnija mechanical pocket watch ... KGB on the front, Kremlin on the back ... I can't imagine they're any sort of collectible because this is not the first one I've owned BUT it's not the typical NOS stuff from Russia you normally see in the mailbag (this one's a little over 21 years old).
