Miniware’s new larger hot plate. They upped the surface area from 30x30mm to 50x50mm so it’s still diminutive but perfect for my smd needs.

Ooh that could be perfect. Your enclosures look absolutely fantastic @steviejr92 I need to check the measurements but I think it's bang on 65mm. I really don't want to use a 1590bb for this. It's way too much wasted space.

It's pretty fantastic. I'm still getting used to how long it takes to heat up (maybe 3-4 min to 220C) compared to all of my irons that reach 300C in 3 seconds. I haven't messed around with the reflow profiles and whatnot it can do but it's pretty feature packed and the footprint is incredible - I have USB charging bricks bigger than it. I was able to maneuver boards bigger than the heating surface around to hit different spots easily too.
Now I just need some better solder paste! Been meaning to try a different brand/type for a while now

Check out Amplifiedparts. They have some great different style enclosures.
I have been using the trapezoid ones for the AE style boards I have.

Just got these from @SillyOctpuss from one of the Xmas giveaways. Grind custom fx UltraStoner and bend over and some sweet diodes. Can’t wait to build both. Thanks again @SillyOctpuss !

How much did that run you? Been needing a hot plate since I have a lot of SMD boards I’m planning on doing that I really don’t want to do by hand

Just shy of $100 on AliExpress. It's the MHP50, there's a handful of listings. Not sure if it's hit amazon or anywhere stateside yet.

. I thought about picking up some boards when Grind custom fx was selling pcbs on madbean forum a few weeks ago but the ultra stoner was sold out. But you saved the day @SillyOctpuss . Can’t wait to build the Bend over too. That was the other pcb I was looking at from the Grind Custom Fx sale that I wanted. It all worked out in the end haha

I just checked the pcb and it's 65mm x 40mm. That sounds perfect. I'll send you a message after I get my kid to bed. We're about to do pyjamas and then I'll be reading for an hr... Or two

I don't usually order from OSHpark, but for small PCBs that I only need a couple of it sometimes makes sense.
This is a direct clone of the power conditioning circuit in the Furman M-8x (and apparently a lot of their other stuff, based on pictures and videos I found online). Planning to put a couple in 125Bs with a pair of outlets for easy on-the-go power conditioning.
