I had a few of those before. Wish they'd take a leaf out of DigiKey's book and use that fancy-cut brown paper padding and use smaller bags.Whoever coined the phrase “Everything is bigger in Texas” must have been referring to Mouser Electronics packaging. Hard to believe (2) 8 pin dip ICs, and a dozen or so ultra low profile electrolytic caps had to ship in a shoe box sized package:

Or like Cusack- his bags can be reused to mail smaller packages again.I had a few of those before. Wish they'd take a leaf out of DigiKey's book and use that fancy-cut brown paper padding and use smaller bags.
Also hilarious that they will sometimes use those black boxes INSIDE an ESD protective bag. Crazy.
"Lifetime Warranty" on that RCA!
That's exactly what I'm planning"Lifetime Warranty" on that RCA!
In the 90s I used a nice HiFi VHS deck for bouncing and mastering with my 4-track. Then I would burn it with the Philips CD-R dual deck.
Last but certainly not least, a little box full of awesome from @jessenator ! Stocked me up with all his latest boards including some hand picked transistor pairs for one! An assortment of transistors including name brand ones(we share an excitement for actual motos and fairchilds), some smd adapter boards, bat Ge diode cheater boards, and a ton more. Also a challenge to build "something" from a bag of random logic chips. Hmmm. Hopefully there's some buffers of gates to exploit in there. Enough to keep this peon busy for a while. Thanks!Ok, not exactly “mailbox” rather guitar store… but through some creative trades and commitment to sell my SLO30 and Maz 18 heads… I brought this home today…

It definitely made me thin the herd to get it. But when I saw it was still there after 6weeks, I think my wife was tired of hearing me talk about it, and she encouraged me to finally pick it up. I will say it’s the lightest Les Paul I ever played, which is good being partially-disabled due to back issues.Oh hell yea, nice score!!! I love that gold all over look, too.
I love it. My wife is encouraging like that too. My first two wives, not so much. Took a while to find the right one, I guess. It definitely made me thin the herd to get it. Not to feel bad. This is my second rodeo and my wife’s third. We all had those “learning experiences”!I love it. My wife is encouraging like that too. My first two wives, not so much. Took a while to find the right one, I guess.
