Don't do anything drastic! All of that pent up gonk energy releasing at once could have catastrophic consequences!

I think there's two solutions to this situation...

1) Therapy for @Bricksnbeatles , maybe a retreat to become a monk or something, no music other than the sound of the wind on the trees

or

2) Some assistance @Robert with a focus on pedals that make bass players happy
