I saw an Andertons demo and they made a point to stress that it's not just a smaller Brigadier, it's a different pedal. But how it's different escapes me.
The first Strymon pedal I bought was the Brigadier. I was sooooo disappointed with it that it took me a long time to try anything else by Strymon. I'm glad I did though because I love my Flint. The Deco is pretty good too.
As far as analog spaceship sounds - well I have been enjoying the weirdness I have been able to get from my newest delay, a used Eventide Rose. You can roll off plenty of high end to make it sound like the muddiest analog delay ever if you like. If you use the time and feedback knobs to make silly sounds you can get some cool degraded repeats. Not necessarily exactly like analog but good enough that I don't care.
