I think the ‘k’ shouldn’t have the swash since it still divides the text a bit much. I’d probably try it without the swash on the last ‘t’ as well. Otherwise, it looks a lot better tightened up like you have it.

Better but still not there IMHO. See that hole between the k and the i?
I've never taken an art class a day in my life, so I don't have a good developed sense for this stuff or whatever. I'm just a hack, so I appreciate the adviceBetter but still not there IMHO. See that hole between the k and the i?
And pedals looks like ped a l s. Plus a couple of other spots.
Kerning is purely an optical thing. Illustrator allows you to nudge letters by small increments.
Good fonts are well kerned already but usually minor adjustments are needed.
There's also "keming" aka kerning gone wrong

Thats how my first 2 kits came as well. I was missing 2 components. This was back when i first started in June. Im still waiting on those components...So, I bout this spring reverb kit from Jed’s in the UK back in October, and it finally showed up the other day. Just got around to opening it up, and gotta say I’m a bit disappointed in the packaging. Everything was just loosely thrown in a baggie and tucked in the enclosure then in a padded envelope. Not that I can’t replace any of the busted parts, but kinda ‘eh’ as a first impression.
