What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Taking a lil break from the commissions for some self care.

Almost have everything built that I wanna audition/ add to my board. So far, these are the keepers (with a few stand-ins for illustration purposes)

The 1590D in the top left corner will be a DMD2 / Hydra / Deflector.
The big Moog knock off is where my HOG2 is gonna go.
Then, I'll need to figure out where the Junk Trunk x2 and Lowtide are gonna fit.
Still deciding on analog octave boxes, though I know the Octuplet and Green Ringer (in a single 125) will be making the cut

I might also try to slap a simple analog chorus in there somewhere

Better but still not there IMHO. See that hole between the k and the i?
And pedals looks like ped a l s. Plus a couple of other spots.

Kerning is purely an optical thing. Illustrator allows you to nudge letters by small increments.
Good fonts are well kerned already but usually minor adjustments are needed.

There's also "keming" aka kerning gone wrong

I've never taken an art class a day in my life, so I don't have a good developed sense for this stuff or whatever. I'm just a hack, so I appreciate the advice

Waiting on a Gotoh 9V battery box so I can take photos of my most recent build!

As for pedals, always a good feeling when it fires up without issue; even more so for a combo build. My third Quad-Arachnid build for Left Turn at Albuquerque. It features banks of delays and reverbs on the EEPROMS from MAS-Effects.

Yet another friend dropping yet another EHX classic onto my repair bench…

All screws are missing, knob is missing, one jack's hardware is missing, battery-door missing...
Friend said it was dead, but didn't say how long ago the last attempt to use it was made.

Hopefully it will be an easier fix than the Electric Mistress.

Alas, I will not be able to work on it until March.

Just an update on this Rare Waves Hydronium build:

Lots of wires. 15 of them all over just to connect the 2 PCB's.. I've never done a bus wire like the ones grounding the jacks, so that was cool.
*Yes, I did seat the IC in the socket before final assembly.

Off to test and calibrate!
Edit: It's calibrated, tuned and is everything I'd hoped it'd be!

So, I bout this spring reverb kit from Jed’s in the UK back in October, and it finally showed up the other day. Just got around to opening it up, and gotta say I’m a bit disappointed in the packaging. Everything was just loosely thrown in a baggie and tucked in the enclosure then in a padded envelope. Not that I can’t replace any of the busted parts, but kinda ‘eh’ as a first impression.
