Screw it. The old labels were bothering me, so I figure I'd see I could take them off with isopropyl without having to completely dismantle and repaint it. Worked OK. In the right (wrong) light you can see where the clear coat was rubbed away by q-tips, but I'll probably re-jig this all again before I know it. Changed the knobs a bit too.

somehow, this latest rabbit hole, has taken me down a few paths! Wiring up a wire cutter/stripper I found the plans for on YouTube. I needed a 3D printer to make it, so now I’m into that too(thanks 3D printer thread, I now have a Bambu P1S). I also let out the magic smoke on one of the capacitors! Always check polarity of your power source! Good lawd that is the worst crotch/rotten fish/unwashed hooligan smell ever! Hahahahaha

My board came for the blues jr today. I’m not sure if I want this to work or not. If it doesn’t I’ll use the pt, ot, chassis and cab and build something. I’d it does I’ll just fleet it.

Edit: all out back together and works like a champ!

Not gonna lie, that sounds like a good punk band name. Crotch Rotten Fish sounds more like grindcore or somesuch.

Really liking this one so far. Gibson scale neck. No tone control on neck pickup. MJT body and Freestone Guitars neck went together really well. Might have to adjust the nut slots but otherwise it's perfect

Man, it's crazy how "off" it looks with the shorty neck. I don't mean off as in bad, it's just very obvious to my eyes.

New mix/blend board for the piezo and magnetic pickups in my banjo/dobro hybrid:



Each pickup gets individually buffered in front of this board. The piezo pickup is on the resonator, which makes for some pretty interesting EFX chain possibilties.
