Behringer Fuzz Bender

I couldn't watch that because I hate when people speak with a vocal fry going on, it's so annoying. :ROFLMAO:

If that box is metal I'll wait til I can get one for 30 bucks used and gut it.
First time noticing vocal fry with an English accent. Ewww
Almost as annoying as the boilerplate commentary

Well yeah, the vocal fry is extremely irritating. But is it just me - that guitar sound was pretty bad too! I don't mind a tonebender when used well but that was a very, very ordinary sound. Granted, I did only listen to the first 35 seconds...

Honestly, how many fuzz pedals have you heard that stand out?

Fair point! At least a good Muff played well can sound expressive and nuanced. I guess a Tonebender can - but not when played like that.

I'm not a fan of many fuzzes. The only ones I like would be a Muff when used sparingly, the Fuzz Factory for it's craziness, and the occasional "broken" fuzz, like a Scarab Dlx. But when they just throw a blanket over the sound and make everything indistinct I lose interest. Why spend all my time finding the right guitar and amp just to make it sound like it could be any old guitar? Fuzz can be an expressive effect but often it's just noise.

Now get off my lawn!

Funny cause a Muff is exactly the tone I associate with lack of expression and nuance :)
It's too thick to allow dynamics IMO.

Well that's ^*@#$%^&* annoying — there's no info given on the pedal's dimensions, not anywhere could I find the info on the company's website. There is only a quick start guide.

I'm not giving Bohrginger my email just to find out.

I wonder how Robert Keeley feels about the name/trademark infringement...

This ain't Behringer's first (or boldest) rodeo.

Ask on Facebook or in the Youtube comments.
Edit: it's also not mentioned in the quick manual on their page.

I like that they actually made it into a metal case. The demo sounds fine to me, especially for the price.

As far as Keeley goes, that Fuzz Bender is one of the best fuzz pedals I've ever played. I foolishly traded mine off and regretfully have yet to replace it.

FWIW EffectsLayouts has a board for it, I built one using it.

And here we go again

I wonder what's behind the release videos when the product is not available for another 6 month or so.
They do this aaaaall the time with every product. Some don't even get out to customers like the Magician amp.
Do they pump out their ideas and then wait if they get sued before producing it?

They were supposed to put out a Synthi AKS clone a year or so ago, but all that there is is a demo vid…
