Tayda pot covers

I knew about the transparent ones, but did not know about all those other colors... are those new or I've just never saw those before?

I think they're fairly new, I noticed them a few weeks ago.

It's interesting that the colored covers are cheaper than the transparent ones.

I've used them. The quality seems pretty much the same, but you don't get to show off your status with a visible Alpha logo.

I ordered a bunch, tried one out last night, they work just fine. Had to modify it, I was using it for a dual pot but was it was solid. I will use them for other builds in the future.

Is this on backwards? My Alpha-branded-made-whatever-capped pots have the recessed area by the pins. That would make it an actual seal over the point where the fiber board and metal meet, anyway

I ordered a bunch in various colors in my last order. They work well and IMO they're more interesting if you're going for a particular look than the transparent ones. And nice that they're cheaper too.

Just look at all the Amazon soldering iron pictures. A lot are like that. I actually wonder how many people burn themselves each year because of this

Getting burned by a soldering iron following the photos on Amazon is a real epidemic.

We need to do a PSA for the amazon soldering iron burn victims. "For the cost of on PPCB, you too can help these poor burn survivors" Sad Sarah McGlachlan music in the background.

That or hire a billboard attorney to go after them. "Have you or someone you love been burned by an Amazon soldering iron? "
