I'm currently building the modified Blues Driver from Aion. it uses one IC and TEN transistors! That's crazy! I hope it sounds good...

That’s part of the reason I bought my dc2w. I bought it a few years ago and it’s the only pedal I’ve had 0 regrets about buying over building. I use it all the time. It sounds awesome with high gain too. I will build the blueshift eventually but it I’m not in a hurry cuz the dc2w is a beautiful looking and sounding pedal. My Meris pedals are always on the verge of the chopping block

I’m in for the Mutrons…

I'm also tempted by the Mutron III, despite the fact that I really dislike the Aion bypass board setup (I've used a bunch of their legacy boards and thought they were good). Looking at the schematic, I think I could just ditch the bypass board (in favor of PPCB relay bypass ) by:

• Hanging some components (RPD across the input jack, D1 between DC jack and +9V input, and C18—if it's even needed?—across the DC jack)
• Omitting the "sense" LED (along with R23 and R24)
